 ld at Thermotechnical Institute (TI) of KU Leuven in Belgium (Heverlee Kas
 teelpark Arenberg 41\, 3001 Heverlee\, Belgium).\nOn October 8\, we are pl
 anning a full day of presentations from leading institutes and companies\,
  covering key topics in the copper industry.\nOn October 9\, participants 
 are invited to join a site visit to the Aurubis Olen plant\, located appro
 ximately one hour from Leuven.\nAurubis Olen\, part of the Aurubis Group\,
  is one of the key copper production sites in Europe and plays a central r
 ole in the company’s refining and recycling operations. Located in Olen\
 , Belgium\, the plant specializes in the production of fire-refined anodes
 \, which are an essential intermediate product in the copper refining proc
 ess.\nAt the Olen site\, fire-refined anodes are further processed using e
 lectrolytic refining to produce high-purity copper cathodes (Cu-CATH-1). T
 hese cathodes meet the highest quality standards and are used in a wide ra
 nge of applications — from electrical engineering and electronics to ren
 ewable energy and e-mobility. In addition to primary copper refining\, Au
 rubis Olen is also a key site for recycling. The plant processes a variety
  of secondary raw materials\, contributing significantly to Aurubis' strat
